Christmas night out coming up? Arrive alive by using the trams instead of driving so you can enjoy the Hogmanay celebrations and keep roads safe for everyone.

We’re partnering with the Scottish Government and Police Scotland this festive season to encourage you to plan your travel in advance, and to use public transport rather than taking the risk of driving after drinking or using drugs.

How do I use the Tap On, Tap Off service?

You will shortly be able to use a contactless card or device to pay for your adult single tram ticket. Simply tap your card to the platform validator before you get on the tram, and tap it again when you get off on the platform validator to complete the journey

If using a device, you will need to ensure you trigger the payment mechanism for that device when you 'Tap On' and 'Tap Off' to ensure Apple Pay or Google Pay registers the transaction.
