Newhaven Harbour

Located on the waterfront of the river Forth, the former fishing village of Newhaven is situated two miles north of Edinburgh city centre.

Beside the harbour the old Victorian fish market can be found. Although the red brick building remains, nowadays, the market is home to local restaurants like The Fishmarket which, offers both locals and tourists an authentic taste of local produce.

A popular cruise terminal, Newhaven harbour is situated a 5-minute walk away from the Newhaven tram stop. For passenger convenience, the route between these two locations is signposted.

It takes roughly 25 minutes from Newhaven to Edinburgh city centre by tram, making the tram a convenient and accessible way to travel.
