Robert Burns always had a soft spot for Edinburgh, calling it “Scotia’s darling seat” – which is one reason why we’re so excited to celebrate his birthday on 25 January. The food, music and whisky help too!
If you’re looking to try the “Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race,” our tramway stretches across some fine venues. Did you know you can also find a 19th-century bronze sculpture of the poet himself just beside The Shore tram stop? It was unveiled back in 2022 as part of the work for the Trams to Newhaven project.
Take a look at our top places for a proper Burns experience, and don’t forget to follow us on X (Twitter) for the latest service updates.
