We wanted to be the first to let you know about The Masterplan – Oasis bring their long-awaited reunion tour to Edinburgh this week, and we’ve got the bucket hats and parkas ready to go!

The trams (and all public transport) will be incredibly busy on these dates, so please make sure you allow plenty of time for travel before the show starts. Entry times aren't confirmed yet, but it's expected that gates will open around 5pm, and approximate show times will be published on the Murrayfield event page here closer to the time.

We’ll be running extra trams before and after the event – plus, trams will be running all night on Friday 8 & Saturday 9 August, as part of our August tram timetable. You can see more information and the full overnight timetables here. Extra trams will also be running on Tuesday 12 August, with the last trams departing Murrayfield at around 1am.

Some Might Say that you should buy your tram tickets in advance – take advantage of our ‘Day Tripper’ tram-only ticket, which includes all-day unlimited tram travel in the city zone, and is exclusively available in advance here. Alternatively, Tap On and Tap Off the trams using your contactless card or device at the tram stop platform validators.

Don’t forget to retain your ticket or tap off at the gateline when you get to Murrayfield Tram stop, where our friendly staff will be checking tickets.

If you’re Half the World Away and driving into the city, park in one of Ingliston Park & Ride’s thousand parking spaces for free and take the tram directly to Murrayfield tram stop. Or if you’ll Roll With It and are taking the train, change at Edinburgh Gateway, Edinburgh Park or Haymarket stations, which all have tram stops located next to them to get you right to Murrayfield.

Cigarettes & Alcohol are banned on trams and tram stops on event days. That includes the use of vapes and e-cigarettes. For information on what you can take into the stadium, see their website here
