Scotland face Tonga for the first time in 20 years this Saturday as part of the 2021 Autumn Nations Series and taking the tram to BT Murrayfield couldn’t be easier!

With frequent and direct services from Edinburgh Airport and the city centre, the tram offers rugby fans the best way to travel to and from the stadium.

To avoid the traffic and parking hassle, there is over 1000 free spaces available at Ingliston Park & Ride site.

New for this year’s rugby fixtures, customers can pre-purchase their tram tickets online which can be downloaded or printed before travel.

Customers can buy ‘Adult Rugby Return’ and ‘Child Rugby Return’ tickets to get to Murrayfield from any tram stop except Edinburgh Airport. For families travelling together, the ‘Family Day Tripper’ ticket is valid for a day’s tram travel for up to 2 adults plus up to 3 under 16s at only £7.50. Buy your tickets in advance here.

Lea Harrison, Edinburgh Trams Managing Director said:

With our new pre-purchase ticket options and with trams from every 3 minutes before and after the game, getting to BT Murrayfield by tram couldn’t be easier.

We look forward to welcoming fans onboard and we hope they experience the best that Edinburgh and its rugby season have to offer.

Scottish Rugby is promising the biggest Halloween Party for which fans are encouraged to come along in a fancy dress. The pre-match show will be performed by Edinburgh-born singer Callum Beattie about 45 minutes before kick-off at 2.30pm.
