How are you maintaining social distancing?

We have signage and messaging in place at tram stops and on trams to promote social distancing. This includes:

• Use m-tickets, smartcards or contactless payment to reduce cash handling.
• Clearly present your mticket, smartcard or ticket to a Ticket Inspector which will be checked in line with our ‘touchless’ ticket checking procedure.
• Face coverings are mandatory on public transport and must be worn when using the tram. Please be considerate to others, exceptions do apply and not all disabilities and medical conditions are visible.  
• Keep yourself and others safe by maintaining a two-metre physical distance while at the tram stop and queuing for ticket machines and smartcard validators.
• On the tram, please use all of the seating and standing space to keep no less than one-metre apart.
• Travel at quieter times of the day.
