Edinburgh Trams is joining forces with the city’s official destination guide to help visitors and residents ‘experience the beauty’ of Scotland’s capital, whatever the time of year.

The popular tramway is backing Forever Edinburgh’s initiatives to promote the city’s cultural heritage by featuring some of the city’s incredible sights and attractions on a newly wrapped tram.

As part of the campaign, Forever Edinburgh has also unveiled a brand new UK inbound leisure visitor digital campaign, Experience the Beauty, and further details can be found here.

Designed to raise awareness of Edinburgh’s unrivaled experiences and encourage new and repeat visitors to visit in all seasons, it features colourful flashes of iconic sights and attractions mixed with intimate snippets of Edinburgh’s less explored nooks and crannies.

Lea Harrison, the tram operator’s Managing Director, commented:

“At certain times of the year, such as during the festival season, the city is bustling with visitors from around the world, but this latest campaign reminds people they can experience the beauty of Edinburgh at any time.

“What’s more, the launch of services to Newhaven earlier this year has already helped millions of people benefit from what their city has to offer, and with so many hotels and top tourist attractions near our tram stops, we’re certain that the trams will continue to play a key role in Edinburgh’s future prosperity.”

In a further bid to promote the city’s many year-round attractions, Forever Edinburgh is also urging local residents to sign up for exclusive rewards, including discounted annual passes for attractions and admission to special previews for theatrical shows.

“I hope the eye-catching design encourages visitors to hop on board and sustainably experience everything our city has to offer, including of course in Leith and Newhaven. The promotion will also highlight the full range of resident rewards Forever Edinburgh has launched for locals.”
