A popular pre-purchase ticket for tram travel is set to make sure rugby fans miss none of the action when the eagerly-awaited Guinness Six Nations championship returns to Edinburgh next month.

Edinburgh Trams’ ‘Rugby Return’ tickets are now on sale ahead of what is expected to be an epic clash between Scotland and France, which kicks off at 2.15pm on Saturday, February 10.

With an option to be downloaded onto a smart device or printed out in advance, they offer excellent value-for-money as they only cost  £3.80 for adults, and £1.90 for under 16s.

Along with other fantastic tram ticket products, the ‘Rugby Return’ tickets can be purchased from edinburghticket.com, using both Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Jamie Swift, Edinburgh Trams’ Marketing Manager, commented:

We’re always looking at ways to make it as easy as possible for those who travel with us on days when the city hosts some of the best rugby fixtures in the world. These tickets have proved a success in previous seasons, with fans loving the added convenience of paying for their ticket ahead of the fixture!

We also have the ‘Family Day Tripper’ ticket available for up to two adults plus up to three children travelling together for only £8, which can also be purchased from the Edinburgh Ticket website.
