Scotland will face England for the Six Nations Calcutta Cup at BT Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday 5th February, and fans are encouraged to buy their tram tickets before they travel.

With services boosted to run from every 3 minutes before and after the game, the tram makes traveling to and from the Stadium as convenient as possible.

Fans can pre-purchase an ‘Adult Rugby Return’ for £3.40 and a ‘Child rugby Return’ for £1.80 from edinburghticket.com. These tickets can be used from any tram stop, except Edinburgh Airport, and are downloaded onto a smart device or printed out before travel.

For families enjoying a rugby day together, the ‘Family Day Tripper’ ticket offers a day’s tram travel for up to 2 adults plus up to 3 under 16s at only £7.50.

And to avoid the traffic and parking hassle, there is free parking available at Ingliston Park & Ride site which has over 1,000 parking spaces, including electric vehicle charging points.

Edinburgh Trams’ Managing Director Lea Harrison, said:

We introduced the rugby pre-purchase tickets for the Autumn Internationals last year, and they proved really popular with fans heading to Murrayfield by tram.

The 2022 Six Nations Championship is a great chance for everyone to get back together and enjoy the thrill of match day atmosphere in our stunning city.

Scotland and England played for the first ever rugby match in 1871 after which they contested a total of 139 games against each other.

Scots finished fourth in 2021’s Six Nations table with 15 points, having won three games and lost two.
