Following the completion of essential engineering works, trams are set to resume full services today, November 23.
An Edinburgh Trams’ spokesman commented:
We are pleased to announce that, after intensive testing across the network, we have been able to resolve the technical issue with the overhead power line, which enables trams to run again from every seven minutes between the airport and St Andrew Square.
We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding whilst these works were carried out. We would also like to thank our engineering team for their continued efforts in restoring services as quickly and safely as possible.
