A collection of world class music is expected to transform the landscape of Edinburgh Castle with concerts taking place across the month.
With an ever bigger repertoire of world-class music set to return to the city’s most iconic historic site this month, concertgoers can rely on Edinburgh Trams for quick and convenient access to the venue. Gates open for all shows at 18:45, with our Princes Street stop just a short walk from the venue.
Madness kick of this year’s concerts with a stellar show planned for Friday 5, with 2010’s hitmakers JLS taking to the stage Tuesday 9. Rock legends Suede and Manic Street Preachers will further team up to present a monumental show on Wednesday 10.
If Indie is more up your street, you can see The National entertain crowds on Thursday 11 or celebrate some of the finest Celtic rock with Skipinnish, on Friday 12, with their 25th anniversary set.
Paul Weller will play the second to last show, on Saturday 13, entertaining crowds with hits such as The Changingman and Broken Stones. Closing the shows, Potterheads will have the chance to see the spellbinding Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in Concert on Sunday 14 with the Scottish National Orchestra.
