On Saturday, March 31, Edinburgh Rugby take on Cardiff Blues at BT Murrayfield in the Challenge Cup Quarter Finals. Kick-off is at 5.45pm and to make sure supporters miss none of the action, Edinburgh Trams is running services from every seven minutes to the heart of the action.
Dean Anderson, Customer Experience Manager at Edinburgh Trams, explained:
“The tram also offers great value, with our most popular return tickets costing just £3.20 for adults and £1.60 for children.
“We urge customers to allow a little extra time for their journeys on match days as we expect the system to be busier than usual.”
With frequent and direct services to the stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, the City Centre and Ingliston Park & Ride, the tram offers supporters the best way to avoid congestion around the ground, and expensive parking, which will also be in short supply.
For fans travelling from further afield, Edinburgh Trams also offers interchanges with trains at the Edinburgh Gateway stop in addition to Edinburgh Park Station, Haymarket and St Andrew Square (for Waverley).
