Edinburgh Trams has been presented with a special plaque to mark its membership to The Institute of Customer Services.
Founded in 1996, The Institute of Customer Services is the independent, professional body for customer service and works to help members improve their customer’s experience and their own business performance.
As a member, Edinburgh Trams will benefit from having access to the organisation’s research, training and knowledge sharing platforms to help the continued development of customer services throughout the company.
Edinburgh Trams' Managing Director Lea Harrison, said:
“Delivering an exceptional customer experience is key to the success of our business. I am pleased to say our standards are already very high however there is always room for improvement.
“The Institute of Customer Services will help us to reinvigorate our employees, training and standards to ensure future success for trams in Edinburgh.”
The plaque presentation coincides with our celebration of National Customer Service Week, with a range of activities planned across our tram system.
Throughout the week our customer service team will be sharing the love by treating lucky customers to breakfast and even some special Edinburgh Tram love heart sweets at selected tram stops.
Customers also have the chance to win an iPad Mini by heading over to our Facebook page and leaving us a review beginning with the phrase ‘I Love Edinburgh Trams because…’
