There is lots to do and see over the coming weeks in and around Edinburgh, if you havn't been on a tram yet, why not use this as an excuse to get on and give it a try.

If you are coming into Edinburgh for the day, you can park at Ingliston Park & Ride and take the tram from there.  The car park is safe, secure and free - plus there will be plenty of spaces.

Trams will run throughout Christmas and New Year - please note they will terminate at the west end on 30 & 31 December and 1 January due to road closures in the City Centre.  See the Christmas and New Year timetable for full details of the service.

Edinburgh Trams, as part of Transport for Edinburgh is the Official Transport Partner of Edinburgh's Christmas this year.  There are shows, rides, markets and events to suit everyones tastes in the city centre until 4 January 2015.  Follow the Decorate Edinburgh tree trail and see the Waverley Bridge Travelshop Christmas Tree (Look out for the special baubles!) or get off the tram in St Andrew Square and visit the Scottish Market.

Don't forget the Winter Savers deals are running until the end of January in partnership with Krispy Kreme, Mercat Tours, Odeon Cinemas and Frankie & Benny's when you buy DAY&NIGHTtickets.  These tickets are valid on both Edinburgh Trams and Lothian Buses.  You can go out by tram and home by bus. Check them out!

Have a great Christmas and New Year from everyone at Edinburgh Trams.
