Additional services will run into the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings during August to help visitors and city residents make the most of the late-night events and performances. Below, we have curated some of our most frequently asked questions to help you plan your journey.

 

The timetable:

 

Extra services will run from every 20 minutes, before operating from every 30 minutes, until regular timetable services resume.

All additional services will run full route from Edinburgh Airport to Newhaven, calling at all stops.

 

Parking at Ingliston Park & Ride:

 

During all-night running, Ingliston Park & Ride will remain open allow customers to utilise the car park through the night. Please note, the kiosk will not be open during the night. Our kiosk opening hours can be found here.

 

Purchasing tickets for all night trams:

 

Save time and money by purchasing your tram tickets in advance here! On our website we have a wide array of ticketing options available to suit any trip, including our ‘Day Tripper’ tickets which are priced at £4.50 for adults, £2.25 for children, and £8 for families and include all-day unlimited tram travel in the City Zone. If you are planning on travelling over multiple days, make sure to check out our multi-day ticket options which are available in 3, 4 & 5 day varieties. 

 

Validity of tickets:

 

Day tickets and returns will remain active until the end of all-night services. New tickets will be required for the start of morning services.
