To continue the festive spirit and season of giving this month, Edinburgh Trams colleagues have been on a mission to collect toys to donate to Cash for Kids for Christmas again this year.

No child should wake up on Christmas Day without presents to open, but unfortunately, that is the reality that many families in our community are facing. That’s why we’re supporting Mission Christmas again to help ensure that every child, no matter their circumstances, feels the excitement of Christmas.

The team headed to Mission Christmas HQ at Lochside View this morning to drop off toys for young people of all ages.

Becky Love, Marketing & Communications Manager at Edinburgh Trams, said:

“The festive season is the time for giving and we continuously look at ways we can give back to the communities around us.

“Our colleagues’ efforts on Christmas Jumper Day last week, and throughout the month to support Mission Christmas, is a testament to our commitment to supporting worthy causes in our community, especially at this time of year.”

We’ve been championing Mission Christmas since 2019 to support them in their mission of giving hope to underprivileged families at Christmas time. Today is the last day for donations, but you can still donate money or buy presents online at the link below until tonight.
