Easter activities
Looking to keep the kids entertained during the Easter holidays? Head to Camera Obscura & World of Illusions for their egg-cellent easter trail across five floors. Help Dizzy the mascot find all their missing eggs which are hidden throughout their 100 interactive exhibits. You’ll need a spring in your step as you take on all five floors, but you’d be hopping-mad to miss out!

Why not explore the informative world of the Edinburgh Science Festival. Give the wee ones an educational but egg-citing day out as they explore and understand the world around them across two weeks – helping to inspire their curiosity and understanding on the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Or how about an easter explorer trail at Edinburgh Zoo? Visit all the animals across the Zoo whilst try to find all the eggs hidden around the grounds on this family friendly easter trail. Plus, if you complete the trail, you can win a prize! A day out to see the animals and an egg-stravagant easter egg hunt – you’re in no doubt that the kids (and the adults, too!) will be entertained.

Rugby
The Guinness Women’s Six Nations kicks off this month, and Scotland are set to play a record-breaking game against England at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on 18 April. The history making game is set to attract the largest crowd ever recorded for a standalone women’s sporting event in Scotland – surpassing the previous Scotland Women’s rugby team and even the Scotland Women’s football team’s records! This game will be a celebration of Scotland women’s rugby and women’s sports; it’s not one to be missed.

Want more of a rugby fix? Edinburgh Rugby will be taking on Italy and South Africa as they battle it out against Zebre Parma and Hollywoodbets Sharks respectively. There’s still tickets available for both games, if you want a Friday rugby night out.
