The busy festival season in Edinburgh may have come to an end but that doesn’t mean all the fun has to stop here in the Scottish capital! Tabletop Scotland: Board Game Festival

Royal Highland Centre

Tabletop Scotland is a board game, card game and roleplaying game festival. This year, they have over 120 exhibitors and over 200 events throughout the weekend. Whether you’re new to the world of tabletop games or an avid gaming enthusiast, the three-day event has something that everyone will enjoy.

The event will be taking place at the Highland Hall in the Royal Highland Centre across the weekend, and you can hop off at Ingliston Park & Ride. From there, is it a short walk to the North Gate entrance – signposted walking routes are in place at the Park & Ride.

FLY Open Air

Princes Street Gardens

FLY Open Air, one of Scotland’s biggest electronic music festivals, returns to Princes Street Gardens this year for a weekend packed with top local and international DJs.

Held under the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the festival is easily accessible via the Princes Street tram stop – hop off outside the gates and step into the gardens for a weekend of live music.

Women’s 10K and Men’s 10K

Royal Mile

The Women’s 10K and Men’s 10K return on Sunday 21 September for a morning of running, raising money for charity, and promoting health and well-being. Both events start on the Royal Mile and take you to the finish line at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. 

With both the start and finish line in close proximity to tram stops, we’ll help you get there and back so you don’t need tire yourself out before or after your run! Alternatively, if you’re going to support someone, glide along with Edinburgh Trams and cheer them on.

PHASE

Murrayfield Stadium

Making its debut in Scotland, PHASE is a three-day event designed to engage gamers, esports enthusiasts, content creators, students, and families and empower them to explore opportunities within the gaming and esports world.

Expect interactive workshops, industry experts, captivating exhibitions, immersive experiences and much more. Murrayfield Stadium tram stop will get you to right outside the doors for this three-day engaging weekend.

Doors Open Day

Every September, businesses across Edinburgh open up their doors for people to explore buildings and places that are not usually open to the public. Businesses throughout the city are taking part and encourage residents and visitors to explore this unique opportunity to get behind-the-scenes access to some of the city’s iconic locations.

Edinburgh Playhouse

The UK’s largest all seated theatre has no shortage of live events in music, comedy, and musical theatre, so there is always something to be seen all year round!

This month, the Playhouse will play host to some familiar faces in comedy including, Eric Idle, Joanne McNally and GK Barry. With trams stopping virtually across the road at Picardy Place, it’s never been easier to get to Edinburgh Playhouse for a fun evening out.
