Edinburgh Trams provide a frequent service from the City Centre, Edinburgh Haymarket Station and Ingliston Park & Ride to the entrance of Murrayfield Stadium.

Travel tickets must be bought in advance of boarding the tram and can be bought at the ticket machines located at every tram stop. Tickets are valid for 30 minutes from purchase - please note the ticket machines at Murrayfield Stadium are at the bottom of the stairs, not on the platform.

Edinburgh Trams is delighted to be able to offer Ridacard customers £5 off admission to Edinburgh Capitals v Sheffield Steelers at Murrayfield Ice Rink this Saturday, 1 November.

The game starts at 1830 and getting to the ice rink couldn't be simpler.  

Simply take the tram to the Murrayfield Stadium stop and it's just a few minutes walk from there to all the action.

On 24 October Edinburgh Trams employees ‘went pink’ for the day to raise money and awareness for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by making donations to dress in Pink for the day raising £100.

The charity, one of the UK’s leading breast cancer charities, has strong links to Edinburgh and is close to the hearts of Edinburgh Trams employees.

Victoria Sampson of Breakthrough Breast Cancer said 

Over 250 Transport for Edinburgh employees and their partners turned out at The Hub in Edinburgh on Saturday 25 October.

The awards recognised employees from all departments at Edinburgh Trams, Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Bus Tours who have shown outstanding commitment and enthusiasm in their day to day jobs, as well as over 85 Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Bus Tours staff who were celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35 and over 40 years service.  

Edinburgh Trams big winner of the night was John Napier, who was announced its Employee of the Year.

Since Edinburgh Trams launched in May 2014 commuters and visitors have become familiar with the voice on board trams providing them with helpful route information.

This Friday, 24 October, Edinburgh Trams employees will be wearing pink to raise awareness and funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The charity, which has strong links to the Capital aims to stop breast cancer for good by improving early diagnosis and developing new treatments.

6-12 October is National Customer Service Week, a week long opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy.

Edinburgh Trams is delighted to be able to offer Ridacard customers an exciting offer with the Edinburgh Capitals ice hockey team at Murrayfield Ice Rink.

During the 2014-15 season, Ridacard holders can get £5 off a ticket for selected Edinburgh Capitals home games, just present your valid Ridacard at the Murrayfield box office.
