Edinburgh Trams are committed to giving the best possible travel experience to its customers.

Last year the entire Edinburgh Tram fleet was fitted with Wi-Fi equipment with funding from The City of Edinburgh Council's Connected Capital Programme.

Edinburgh is one of the 22 cities across the UK benefiting from the Government’s Super Connected Cities £150m programme, which is being delivered through Broadband Delivery UK.

With Edinburgh Airport is becoming more and more popular with new flights to Copenhagen, Doha & New York being introduced over the coming months, the airport is now the busiest in Scotland.

Getting to and from the airport by tram is simple and ideal for people coming to the Edinburgh for business.  The tram will take you straight to the Gyle Business Park, the West End or City Centre and have free wi-fi to check your emails as you arrival or depart from the City.

Over 70,000 people watched and shared the film through various online media channels!  The film is also currently on show at the Waverley Bridge Transport for Edinburgh Travelshop and was featured on the screens during Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party.

The film drew an overwhelming response from the public, with over 500 comments including:

In October the Whizz Kidz visited Edinburgh. During their stay, they did an accessibility audit of the city and created a fantastic video to help other young wheelchair users get around on the cobbles, hills and trams in the city.

When the Kidz got in touch with us to ask if Edinburgh Trams could help them with their filming, the company was delighted to help. One of the things they wanted to look at was tram accessibility as a new public transport option.

The number of cars parking at Ingliston Park & Ride during the festive shopping season has nearly doubled on last year.

Ingliston Park & Ride received a Transport for Edinburgh branding overhaul and a major marketing campaign push this year with the advent of the tram service launch.

As the first calendar year of tram operations comes to a close, Tom Norris our Director and General Manager reflects on Edinburgh Trams' year.

For many reasons, 2014 will be a year that I will always remember. From testing to operations, Murrayfield events, incidents, collisions and lightning strikes, I can safely say we’ve had a fair bit on our plate.
