Edinburgh Trams

The City of Edinburgh’s celebration of summer festivals, inspirational music and breath-taking Virgin Money Fireworks concert brings the 2016 Edinburgh International Festival to a resplendent conclusion.

Set against the iconic background of Edinburgh’s historic Castle, this spectacular event brings together stirring orchestral music from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and magnificent pyrotechnics, specially choreographed by international fireworks artist Pyrovision to enhance your musical experience. Around a quarter of a million people gather across the city and beyond to share in this annual grand festival season finale each year.

Decide to Glide - what better way to get to and from the concert than by tram. Edinburgh Trams run a fast, frequent service to the heart of the action from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park & Ride, and Edinburgh Park Station. Edinburgh Trams will be running to/from the West End only from approximately 7.30pm. The last full route departure from Edinburgh Airport will be 6.33pm. The last full route departure from York Place will be 7.16pm. Full route services will not commence until Tuesday 30th August.
