To recognise it's first year, Transport for Edinburgh launched a short film entiltled "One City Many Journeys" showing how Edinburgh's transport network is integral to life in the Capital.
Over 70,000 people watched and shared the film through various online media channels! The film is also currently on show at the Waverley Bridge Transport for Edinburgh Travelshop and was featured on the screens during Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party.
The film drew an overwhelming response from the public, with over 500 comments including:
'Loved this video! Depicts a true reflection of real people, living/working in Edinburgh, using our great public transport.'
'What a great video, very well produced.'
'Love how its filmed! Beautiful sunset, only the best views like that you can find in the most visited and best city to live in the UK!'
As part of the launch of the film, a Ridacard was given away to one lucky winner, Laura-Jane Hamilton.
On collecting her prize for the Transport for Edinburgh Travelshop on Waverley Bridge, Laura said:
I couldn't believe it when I won a Ridacard. I normally purchase a 4 week ridacard which I use to travel on buses and tram so this is a great prize fo rme. The money I will save can go toward going on holiday.
