From today, 7 November, Edinburgh Trams display a poppy in the drivers cab area of the tram to mark the World War One Centenary year and commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

Edinburgh Trams employees wanted to show their respect to those who fought in the wars and ensure the occasion was marked in an appropriate way.

All employees will be given the opportunity to observe a two minute silence on Remembrance Sunday. Drivers will be given advance notice and will stop at the closest tram stop.
