Due to the ongoing redevelopment of Tynecastle Stadium, several Ladbrokes Premiership fixtures are being played at BT Murrayfield Stadium. The next of these kicks off at 3pm this Sunday 5 November, when Hearts take on Kilmarnock.

Travelling on Edinburgh Trams

Getting to the game couldn’t be easier by tram. Edinburgh Trams will be running fast and frequent services to the heart of the action. Trams run from every 7 minutes from locations such as Ingliston Park & Ride, Edinburgh Gateway, Edinburgh Park, Haymarket, Princes Street and St Andrew Square (for Waverley).

Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App. Edinburgh Trams recommends purchasing return tickets to make your journey simpler. Return tickets are available within the City Fare Zone and the Airport Fare Zone. Customers are requested to have their tickets ready for inspection for the gateline, which will be in place at Murrayfield Stadium tram stop.

  • RETURNticket £3.20 (adult) or £1.60 (child)

Please note: Customers who do not purchase a ticket in advance are subject to payment of the £10 On-board fare.

Additional travel advice for Hearts fans:

In co-operation with Police Scotland, Hearts fans are being requested to access the south of the stadium by disembarking at Murrayfield Stadium tram stop.

Additional travel advice for Kilmarnock fans:

In co-operation with Police Scotland, Kilmarnock fans are being requested to use the north entrance. If arriving from the west of the city including Edinburgh Gateway you are asked to disembark the tram at Balgreen. If you arrive from the city centre you are asked to disembark the tram at Haymarket. The stadium's north entrance can then be reached on foot from these locations.
