The Transport for Edinburgh Travelshop in Hanover Street will close for refurbishment on Friday 22 May.

During this time improvements will be made for customers including an expansion of the front desk.

The nearest alternative for your travel needs will be the Waverley Bridge Travelshop, which is a 5 minute walk from Hanover Street. Waverley Bridge Travelshop is open seven days a week and will operate a FastTrack desk for Ridacard top ups. It will be open until 1900,  Monday - Thursday to help customers during this time.

Transport for Edinburgh also has a Travelshop located in Dalkeith where you can collect timetables, Ridacards, citysmart cards and travel information. Ridacard top ups can also be made at any Paypoint location, the closest to Hanover Street Travelshop being next door in RS McColls.

Any critical items of lost property can be collected from Waverley Bridge Travelshop while Hanover Street is closed.  The lost property telephone number, 0131 475 0652,  and online enquiry form will remain in use and you can also contact the company's social media channels to make enquiries during the closure.

If you have Ridacard questions you can email [email protected] or call 0131 475 0626.

Edinburgh Trams would like to thank you in advance for your patience during this time and look forward to welcoming you back to the new look Travelshop.
