It’s set to be a massive weekend of rugby and Edinburgh Trams is ready to get fans to the heart of the action when the European Challenge and Champions Cup finals come to BT Murrayfield.

Gloucester take on Stade Francais in the Challenge Cup final on Friday, 12 May (kick-off 8pm), whilst Clermont take on Saracens the following day on Saturday, 13 May (kick-off 5pm).

With roads around Murrayfield likely to be very busy both prior and just after either match, Edinburgh Trams offers the best way to get to and from the famous stadium with frequent and direct services from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, the city centre and Ingliston Park & Ride.

Dean Anderson, Customer Experience Manager at Edinburgh Trams, explained:

“Our services proved immensely popular for the Six Nations fixtures at BT Murrayfield earlier this year and we look forward to transporting thousands of excited rugby fans once again for what is one of Europe’s most prestigious sporting weekends.

“As well as choosing from a range of fares that offer fantastic value for money, fans can also avoid the traffic and the hassle of finding a parking space close to the stadium by taking the tram.”

“Trams are expected to be extremely busy so we recommend all customers travelling on trams before and immediately after the games take this into consideration when planning trips.”
