We are running more trams than ever before this festive season, with trams from every 10 minutes every day except Christmas Day.
We’ve also got our special Hogmanay FREE night tram services throughout the early hours on 1st January 2017 to get you home safely.

Christmas & New Year Trams
Christmas Eve Saturday 24 December - Saturday service until 21.00. Last full route tram from York Place to Edinburgh Airport will depart at 20.08. Later departures from York Place will terminate at Edinburgh Gateway (until 21.38). Last full route tram from Edinburgh Airport to York Place will depart at 20.55.
Christmas Day Sunday 25 December - Sorry no trams today.
Boxing Day Monday 26th December - Normal Saturday service with trams from every 10 minutes.
Bank Holiday Tuesday 27 December - Normal Saturday service with trams from every 10 minutes.
Wednesday 28 Friday 30 December - Normal weekday service with trams from every 10 minutes. From 6pm on Friday, all trams will terminate at West End to allow for the Torchlight Procession and Hogmanay events to take place. Last full route departure from Edinburgh Airport is at 17.08. The last full route departure from York Place is at 17.54.
Hogmanay Saturday 31st December - Normal Saturday service until normal last tram times between Edinburgh Airport and West End.
FREE Hogmanay Night Trams – From Midnight until 5am on 1st January, trams will run every 20 minutes between West End and Edinburgh Airport.
New Year’s Day Sunday 1st January - Normal Sunday service (Edinburgh Airport – West End before 10am) with trams running the full route to York Place after 10am. First full route tram from Edinburgh Airport is at 9.36. The first full route tram from York Place is at 10.19.
Bank Holiday Monday 2nd January - Saturday service with trams from every 10 minutes.
Bank Holiday Tuesday 3rd January - Normal weekday service.
