Celebrate 145 years of Edinburgh Rugby and the 1872 Cup this weekend (Saturday, 23) at BT Murrayfield Stadium.
Tens of thousands of rugby fans are set to descend on Murrayfield this Saturday to see Edinburgh v Glasgow for the 1872 Cup and Edinburgh Trams is planning to make sure they miss none of the action.
With services from every 3 minutes direct to the stadium from locations such as Ingliston Park & Ride, Edinburgh Park, Haymarket and the City Centre, the tram offers an attractive way for supporters to get to the match.

Travelling with Edinburgh Trams
Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App. Edinburgh Trams recommends purchasing return tickets to make your journey simpler. Customers are requested to have their tickets ready for inspection for the gateline, which will be in place at Murrayfield Stadium tram stop.
Ticket prices (City Fare Zone):
SINGLEticket £1.60 (adult) or £0.80 (child)
RETURNticket £3.20 (adult) or £1.60 (child)
Please note: Customers who do not purchase a ticket in advance are subject to payment of the £10 On-board fare.
Security Information
BT Murrayfield are asking fans to bring little or no personal belongings with them. Bags no more than A5 size will be permitted. Fans should be prepared for bag searches at the stadium turnstiles.
