The world-famous Royal Highland Show returns to the Royal Highland Centre for its annual four-day event showing the best of food, farming, and rural life this weekend.

Running from Thursday 18 – Sunday 21 June, you can expect over 800 trade exhibitors, over 2,000 livestock competitors entering into 900+ competitions (and over 4,000 animals!), plus tens of thousands of visitors looking to experience the top agricultural event of the year.

As always, we’ll be running tram services from every seven minutes throughout each day between Edinburgh Airport and Newhaven and you can hop off at our Ingliston Park & Ride stop for a short walk to the grounds of the Royal Highland Centre.

From the tram stop, there are four walking routes you can take to either the North, East, South, or West entrances.

If you’re heading there with the whole family, you can make use of our ‘Family Day Tripper’ ticket, which offers unlimited tram travel for up to two adults and three children between Ingliston Park & Ride and Newhaven. You can purchase your tickets via the Edinburgh Ticket website.

Alternatively, you can also use Tap On and Tap Off using your contactless card or device to pay for an Adult single ticket. Make sure you use the same contactless card or device to be capped at the daily rates as you travel throughout the day.
