Swifties heading to Edinburgh to see their idol on her Eras Tour are being offered a great travel deal by the city’s award-winning tram network, along with late-night services to make sure they don’t miss the climax of the shows.

When Taylor Swift performs at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for three consecutive days in June, trams will run until at least 1.00am, with additional services also being laid on before the global superstar takes to the stage.

Fans can also take advantage of a range of fare options that are sure to prove popular with Swifties heading to the venue, including a pre-purchase ‘Day Tripper’ ticket that’s now available exclusively from www.edinburghticket.com. As well as saving tram customers time on the day, it also offers great value at just £4.50 for adults and £2.25 for children for a day of unlimited tram travel. An £8 family ‘daytripper’ ticket is also available for up to two adults and three under-16s.

Catriona Anderson, Edinburgh Trams’ Customer Experience Manager, commented:

“With tens of thousands of people flocking to the city to enjoy these epic Taylor Swift shows, we want to ensure concertgoers have the very best getting to and from the venue.

“As well as offering hassle-free access to the Murrayfield stop, anyone driving from beyond the city can leave their cars at Ingliston Park & Ride (IPR) before completing their journey by tram.”

During the Eras Tour, the global supertstar will perform more than a hundred shows across five continents, and further information can be found here.
