On 24 October Edinburgh Trams employees ‘went pink’ for the day to raise money and awareness for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by making donations to dress in Pink for the day raising £100.

The charity, one of the UK’s leading breast cancer charities, has strong links to Edinburgh and is close to the hearts of Edinburgh Trams employees.

Victoria Sampson of Breakthrough Breast Cancer said

We truly value our charity partnership with Edinburgh Trams.  Money raised from their dress pink day will go towards our life-saving research work and with more women than ever being diagnosed with breast cancer, there has never been a more vital time for this.  We believe breast cancer can be stopped and research holds the key to that. The support of Edinburgh Trams will help us stop breast cancer for good.
