Once again, on Remembrance Sunday Edinburgh Trams will provide free travel to across its system to personnel and veterans in uniform or with an appropriate form of identity documentation.

Lea Harrison, Managing Director, Edinburgh Trams said:

“Edinburgh Trams is extremely fortunate to have many ex-service personnel in our organisation, and we will continue to support those who serve and their families through our partnership with the Armed Forces Covenant.”

Mr Harrison added:

“Providing free tram travel on Remembrance Sunday is the least we can do to recognise those who have served, and those who continue to service to protect our own freedom.”

Edinburgh Trams will also observe the official two-minute silence on November 10 and 11 and its staff will wear poppies. The trams will also display the poppy, the official symbol of remembrance since 1921 with a donation being made to Poppy Scotland.
