Royal Highland Centre

As Scotland's largest indoor & outdoor venue, the RHC plays host to over 220 events annually.

Getting There By Tram

Edinburgh Trams offer services from every three minutes to Ingliston Park & Ride from the City Centre including interchanges with trains at St Andrew Square (for Waverley), Haymarket, Edinburgh Park Station and Edinburgh Gateway.

The first tram from the City Centre is at 5.30am and the last tram from Ingliston Park & Ride is 10.50pm.

Using the tram is an inexpensive way to travel to the RHC while helping to reduce road congestion in and around the venue.

Ticket Prices:

Single: £1.70 (Adult) £0.80 (Child)

Return: £3.20 (Adult) £1.60 (Child)

Family Day Ticket: £8.50 (up to two adults and three children)

Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding the tram using the ticket vending machines or on the Transport for Edinburgh mticket app otherwise the £10 on-board fare will apply. Royal Highland Show

Celebrating its 179th year, The Royal Highland Show is one of Scotland's most iconic events, showcasing the very best of farming food and rural life. A great day out for everyone of all ages, get up close to the country's top quality livestock, taste exceptional food & drink and experience rural living at its most vibrant.

The South Entrance of the venue is just a short 10-15 minute walk from Ingliston Park & Ride tram stop. Signage is in place to help you along the quickest route – simply follow the green walking route.

Other Events

The venue has up to four entrances which may be in use depending on the event. Please check directly with the RHC on which entrance is in use for your event. All four entrances are accessible on foot via Ingliston Park & Ride tram stop.
