Edinburgh Trams run from the City Centre,  Haymarket Station and Ingliston Park & Ride to the entrance of Murrayfield Stadium.

To travel on the tram, tickets must be bought in advance of boarding from the ticket machines located at every tram stop or the Transport for Edinburgh app.

Tom Norris, Edinburgh Trams Director and General Manager said:

We're prepared for another big rugby game this weekend with extra services running on Saturday for rugby fans to get to and from the game. There will also be extra staff working to help customers and to keep everyone moving as smoothly as possible.  We hope everyone has a great time.

Please note:

  • Ticket machines at Murrayfield Stadium are at the bottom of the stairs, not on the platform.
  • Trams will be extremely busy from 4.30pm.
  • There will be extra trams running for the game but please allow plenty of time for your journey and do expect queues, for both ticket machines and trams, especially after the game.
  • There is a new queueing system for trains at Haymarket. If you are heading to Glasgow Queen St, Stirling and Dunblane, queues are behind the tram stop at Haymarket so turn LEFT when you get off.  Turn RIGHT for all other trains.

Ticket prices:

SINGLEticket   £1.50 (adult) or £0.70 (child)
DAYticket         £3.50 (adult), £2.00 (child) or £7.50 (family - up to 2 adults and 3 children).

Different fares apply to journeys starting or ending at Edinburgh Airport.
