A message from Dean Anderson, our Customer Experience Manager.
Today marks the starts of National Customer Service Week created by the Institute of Customer Service.
Edinburgh Trams joined The Institute several years ago to help us develop our model for world-class customer service. With support from The Institute, we have improved the experience for our customers and colleagues alike, we have developed our workforce and we are delivering benefits for the organisation.
There is no doubt we are currently facing the most challenging times in our short history but it’s important we take time this week to remind us how important customer service is, particularly as part of our recovery from the impact of COVID19. So, this week, keep your eyes on our social media channels where we will be quietly celebrating some of our recent successes as we’ve navigated the challenges of the pandemic we’re all facing.
In the meantime, I’d like to give a personal thanks to all of our customers who have taken to the new experience of travelling by tram. And, to my colleagues who have worked hard to keep our essential services operating including those who have recently returned from furlough to support. Your efforts are greatly appreciated
Take care and stay safe.
