Conveniently located just off the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport, The City of Edinburgh Council’s park and ride site at Ingliston offers free parking with over 1,000 spaces including electric vehicle charging points.

Tram services operate from every seven minutes and reach the city centre (Princes Street) in less than 30 minutes. Tram tickets must be purchased before boarding from the tram stop ticket vending machine, the mticket app or via edinburghticket.com.

Dean Anderson, Customer Experience Manager at Edinburgh Trams said:

“The Council’s park and ride site offer a convenient and hassle free way for day trippers to visit Edinburgh and avoid the stress of city centre traffic and expensive parking charges.”

“What’s more, with a range of tickets available, there is a product to suit everyone.”

The park and ride site is also served by Lothian’s bus services; 200 to Ocean Terminal, 300 to Fountain Park and 400 to Fort Kinnaird.

Due to Covid-19, the kiosk is currently closed with no access to toilet facilities. While the site is open seven days per week, no overnight parking is permitted.
