From Sunday 12 April, we will further reduce the frequency of our services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trams will continue to operate every 15 minutes until approximately 7.30pm but will reduce to every 30 minutes until the end of normal service. The times of our first and last services will not change.
Lea Harrison, Managing Director of Edinburgh Trams said:
“We are now experiencing over a 90% reducing in customer journeys as the public is advised to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.
“We are working hard to maintain one of Scotland’s Critical National Infrastructures for key workers and those who rely on us for essential travel.
“For those who do have to travel, we have enhanced our cleaning regime and introduced social distancing measures to our on-board service to keep our customers and colleagues safe.”
