Edinburgh Trams receive Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence

Edinburgh Trams celebrated its second birthday this week with the news that it has received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

The award accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

The news comes on the back of the service recently receiving a 97% overall customer satisfaction rating from an independent UK-wide survey by Passenger Focus.

Lea Harrison, General Manager of Edinburgh Trams, said:

This is a great way to be celebrating two years of operation. The first twelve months were obviously about establishing the service. Having done that successfully, our focus in the last year has been more on improving standards further and preparing for the future. With passengers numbers growing at the airport, planned service improvements and a new link with Fife via the Gogar interchange coming later this year, there’s even more to look forward to.
