Staff at Edinburgh Trams are set to help raise money for an international Children’s charity by pulling on their festive knitwear.

On Friday 16 December, Drivers, Ticketing Services Assistants and office-based staff will be supporting Save The Children by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day.

Thousands of businesses across the UK will be involved in the special day which aims to raise funds to help children who are without essentials such as healthcare, education, protection and food across the globe.

Dean Anderson, Customer Experience Manager at Edinburgh Trams said:

“Many of our staff are already well and truly in the festive spirit and need no excuse to pull their eye-catching Christmas jumpers on, but there is a serious side to the fun.

“Millions of children around the world that are missing out on the support they need and find themselves in life-threatening situations.

“Edinburgh Trams is proud to do what it can to help support important charities such as Save The Children make a huge difference to the lives of those children who need help.”

Customers can also get involved in the day by sending photos of themselves on the tram in their Christmas jumpers to our Facebook page or Twitter feed.
