The BT Murrayfield Stadium plays host to the first leg of the 1872 Cup on Boxing Day and Edinburgh Trams will provide the perfect way of getting to the match.
Edinburgh Rugby take on the Glasgow Warriors in the highly anticipated match as they look to retain the Crabbie's 1872 Cup for the third season in a row. The action is set to start at 4.05pm.
With a fast, frequent and direct service to the entrance of the BT Murrayfield stadium from all our stops including Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park & Ride, Gyle Centre, Edinburgh Park Station (for Hermiston Gate) and York Place, Edinburgh Trams provides a quick and hassle-free way of getting to the match.
Travelling on Edinburgh Trams
Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App. Edinburgh Trams recommends purchasing return tickets to make your journey simpler. Return tickets are available within the City Fare Zone and the Airport Zone. Customers are requested to have their tickets ready for inspection for the gateline, which will be in place at Murrayfield tram stop.

Bicycles will not be permitted for carriage immediately prior to and after this event.
