Rugby fans are set to descend on the BT Murrayfield Stadium this month for the first of three Autumn Tests, and Edinburgh Trams is planning to make sure they miss none of the action.

With services from every 3 minutes direct to the stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park & Ride, Haymarket and the City Centre, the tram offers an attractive way for supporters to get to the match.

The first of the Tests will see Scotland take on Samoa on Saturday, November 11, followed by matches against New Zealand the following week and Australia on November 25.

Dean Anderson, Customer Experience Manager at Edinburgh Trams, explained:

“These highly-anticipated matches are generating a huge amount of excitement, with the matches against the All Blacks and Australia already sold out. We’re gearing up for 3 busy weekends ahead and ask customers to plan extra time in their journeys.”

Our trams carry up to 250 people and we’ll be running them from every 3 minutes in both directions to get customers on their way as quickly as possible. For those who would prefer not to queue, the West End is approximately a 15 minute walk from the staium. Alternatively, bus services operate from Westfield Road, Gorgie Road and Corstorphine Road.
